B.C.'s CONSTRUCTION STILL BOOMING

SECOND ONLY TO ONTARIO FOR MAY '07
B.C.'s residential building permits for May '07 were second only to Ontario. When you include non-residential permits we were still in third place, according to figures released by Stats Canada.
The total value for residential permits for May '07 were; Ontario 1,162.5 million dollars, British Columbia 905.3 million dollars, Alberta 649.1 million dollars.
It proves what we already know in the west, and particularly BC, that this is the best place in all of Canada to live!
It is also good news if you work in the construction industry because you can find work in the best climate in all of the country.
Obviously a simple drive around Nanaimo would indicate we are following this trend, with new construction evident where ever you look.
