BUT EVERYONE HAD FUN ANYWAYAfter all a little 'liquid sunshine' is not going to dampen the spirits of a true Nanaimoite!
With folding chairs and umbrellas in hand, many Nanaimo residents came to enjoy the Sailpast on Wheels Parade, and they weren't disappointed.
The parade had all the elements of a great parade, and the participants should be given a great big THANK YOU for putting on a great display, in spite of the fact that umbrellas and rain gear were made necessary.
It was a great parade and the organizers and participants did a fantastic job.
Sunshine, of the non-liquid variety, is forecast for next year...so be there!
