ARMED ROBBER STRIKES AGAIN

STRING OF LOCAL ARMED ROBBERIES
HAS POLICE CONCERNED


The local daily newspaper reports a string of armed robberies which have police increasing their efforts to apprehend the culprit.

At about 3:30 pm Tuesday a woman in the 1800 block of Bowen Rd. was robbed at knife point in an elevator in an office building.
In addition since Friday, four stores have been robbed and a woman knocked down for her purse.
Several of the incidents have been in the Brooks Landing/Estevan Road area. Police have concern that anyone resisting this thief could be hurt as his behavior could escalate.
The man is described as white, about 25 years old, slim build with short brown hair and between 5 foot eight and five foot ten inches tall.
