BRECHIN UNITED CHURCH GETS NEW ROOF

NOT YOUR AVERAGE ROOFING JOB!
Crews from Roofco roofing company are busy at work putting a new roof on Brechin United Church. According to Pastor John van Ome this is the second re-roof the building has had since it was built in 1958. The two previous roofs were cedar shake but the new replacement is a 40 year asphalt shingle roof. Special detail around the buildings dormers present some challenges. The steepness of the roof and sheer size of the job is quite an undertaking. The congregation has already raised approximately 1/3 of the total $70,000 cost of this major project. If you want to take a look, you will have to be quick, as they estimate they will be finished by mid week, weather permitting.
