DANCES IN THE PARK MAFFEO SUTTON PARK

LION'S PAVILION MAFFEO SUTTON PARK

A modest crowd enjoyed the free Dances in the Park held at Maffeo Sutton Park on Nanaimo's beautiful waterfront. These dances will continue each Friday until the end of August. So if you enjoy dancing or simply watching good dancers be sure come on down and enjoy one of Nanaimo's under-used joys.
The park is a great place to enjoy an evening stroll while taking in the ever-changing waterfront or cool your feet in Swy-a-lana Lagoon. Bring along a ball and glove or a basketball and shoot a few hoops. Or just bring yourself and your camera and enjoy what makes Nanaimo such a lovely place to live.
Don't forget that today (Saturday), the Park will be home to ArtsFair 2007 and the free concert put on by the Vancouver Island Symphony. Be sure not to miss the 5th annual Chowderfest at Pioneer Waterfront Plaza beside the Bastion.
If your a Timberman fan, I won't have to remind you to get out and support your favourite team tonight at Frank Crane arena.
Full details are available on yesterdays post here, just below this item.
Have another great summer evening in the waterfront city of Nanaimo.
