BANNERS BRIGHTEN NANAIMO STREETS

BANNERS TO CELEBRATE
BC's 150th ANNIVERSARY

You don't need to be an accomplished artist to participate in the annual Banner Festival which adds some pizazz to Nanaimo streets from May to October.
This years theme is to celebrate our provinces 150th anniversary. The focus will be on local history, events and places...all things Nanaimo.
The finished banners will be hung in the city's south end, downtown, Beban Park, Departure Bay beach and along the sea-wall.
If you would like to enter a banner submit an original design to the Festival's selection committee, and after approval you paint your banner on a scheduled date.
If you are interested you can download an entry form at www.nanaimoartgallery.com, or pick up a form at either 150 Commercial St. or 900 Fifth St.
For more information please call 250-740-6350 or email: info@nanaimogallery.ca.
