Foul Play Not Suspected
On Saturday May 31 at 0930 am a body of a deceased adult male was located in Barsby Park located near the Millstone River.
49 year old Norman Leger a resident of Nanaimo but of no fixed address was found deceased in an area of the park frequently used by homeless persons for overnight tenting. Police were notified as was the BC Coroners Office.
Foul play is not suspected and the investigation has been turned over to the BC Coroners office.
