Are These Ferries Gas Guzzlers??Much has been said lately about the rising cost of gas and the role it plays in all areas of life.
BC Ferries has applied for a large fuel surcharge to cover rising fuel costs, which of course is not very popular with regular ferry users.
I have never seen any figures suggesting that our new Super Class ferries are fuel savers, which if they were I would suspect would be well promoted.
Since I am merely a lowly blog publisher. perhaps someone in the real news business might ask some pointed questions of ferry management as to the fuel burned per passenger on the new ferry compared to the older ferries.
