Things To Do in Nanaimo This Weekend

The Silly Boat Races

This Sunday the weekend highlight would have to be the Silly Boat Regatta in support of the Child Development Centre. The 24th annual event has a fundraising goal of $80,000 this year.

The building of the silly boats starts at 8:00am and the actual race starts at 1:00pm. There is lots to see and do at this fun and worthwhile family event. To visit the events website use this Nanaimo Info LINK.
