CANADA ELECTION DAY

VOTE HOWEVER YOU WANT
JUST BE SURE TO VOTE!

You may vote on Election Day from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at your appointed polling station. If you have received your voter registration card in the mail be sure to take it with you as it will speed the process of voting when you go.

If you need information about where you should vote or what identification you need when you show up to vote the local Elections Canada office can be reached at 1 866 545-0621. If you want information you may also visit the Elections Canada website by using this Nanaimo Info LINK.

If you need transportation to the polls you should call your candidates office and see if they can assist you with a ride on election day.

It is hoped that by now as a citizen participating in our democracy you have taken the time to hear what the candidates and their parties have to say about the important issues facing Canada at this time and that you will be making an informed vote come election day. Democracy only really works when the people take the time to know what they are voting about and then take the time to exercise their right to have a say in the government of their country.
