Investigators with the North Cowichan/Duncan General Investigation Section continue to investigate multiple allegations of fraud, against Southwest RV and Sport LTD .
In conjunction with the Motor Sales Authority of British Columbia, the North Cowichan / Duncan RCMP have entered into an investigation in relation to fraud allegations against South West RV and Sport Ltd. Although the investigation is in it’s preliminary stages, it is estimated that there may be approximately 70 complainants with the value of the fraud upwards of a million dollars.
Many of these complainants reported their matters to their local police department or RCMP Detachment’s, across Vancouver Island. In response to the challenges this wide-spread reporting has caused, and to stream line the reporting process for any new complainants, the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP have established a dedicated tip-line. This tip line will allow for direct contact with the primary investigators, and expedite the flow of information.
No further investigational details can be released at this time, as this remains an ongoing and active investigation.
