BC FERRIES DROP FUEL SURCHARGE AND TAKE 33% OFF FOR TWO MONTHS


BC FERRIES TO ELIMINATE FUEL SURCHARGE

BC Ferries’ President and CEO David L. Hahn has announced that the Company has received authorization from the British Columbia Ferry Commissioner to remove the remainder of its fuel surcharge in December.


The effective dates are as follows:

• Friday December 5, all minor routes and the route between Horseshoe Bay and Langdale.

• Friday December 19, all major routes, Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay, Horseshoe Bay-Departure Bay and Tsawwassen-Duke Point.


BC Ferries would like to remind customers that effective Monday December 1, all sailings will be 33% off for a two month period until January 31, 2009.
