Canadians Pay for Massages forAll Members of Parliament
It was reported last night that among some of the perks our Federal politicians enjoy are unlimited massages whenever they are needed. Apparently there is a male and a female massage therapist on staff for the purpose of working out the kinks in our elected officials.
They also have free meals and dry cleaning services among other things, to make their sacrifice to the service of Canada less difficult.
Now for the 'Only in Ottawa' comment. When asked what they thought about having a massage therapist available for all MP's several who were interviewed had no idea the massages were available.
Only in Ottawa would we hire and pay people to provide a service and then not tell anyone the service is available!
Those are YOUR tax dollars being spent you know!
