SENIORS RIDE B.C. FERRIES FOR FREE

B.C. SENIORS TRAVEL FOR FREE

ON REMEMBRANCE DAY

On Tuesday, November 11, British Columbia’s senior citizens will be able to travel for free on most BC Ferries routes in recognition of Remembrance Day.

The free travel applies to passenger fares only. Throughout the year, free passenger travel is offered to B.C. seniors from Mondays through Thursdays except on holidays. This Remembrance Day, BC Ferries will join communities around the province in honouring our veterans and their peers by extending the discount to the holiday Tuesday.

In recognition of our veterans, all Canadian flags on BC Ferries’ vessels will fly at half mast for Remembrance Day. A moment of silence will also occur at 11:00 am on the vessels.

On BC Ferries’ northern routes between Port Hardy, Prince Rupert and Skidegate on the Queen Charlotte Islands, the daily discount for B.C. seniors remains in effect.
