Bowen Island FerryThe local daily reports that the owner of the month old Bowen Island - downtown Vancouver ferry service is still looking into a service for Nanaimo.
The owner says he is meeting with shipbuilders to plan suitable vessels for the downtown Nanaimo to downtown Vancouver service. A service he is confident will succeed where other services have failed.
The owner of Coastal Link got his start running ferry services in the Middle East and sees nothing but opportunity on the west coast of Canada.
