NANAIMO SANTA CLAUS PARADEFRIDAY 6:30 PM COMMERCIAL ST.
Bundle up the kids and take them downtown tomorrow night to see the Santa Claus parade which runs from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.
The parade will come down Victoria Rd. around Victoria Cres. and up Commerical St. to the Diana Krall Plaza (by the library).
The downtown merchants association are sponsoring the Malaspina Choir who will be signing Christmas carols in the Port Theatre (free admission), with the event being broadcast on the BIG screen in Krall Plaza.
Kids can meet with Santa in the Plaza and enjoy hot chocolate and treats.
WIN A $1,000 SHOPPING SPREE
The second annual $1,000 Shopping Spree will be drawn for in the Plaza at 7:20 pm. Entry forms are online at www.shopnanaimo.ca.
So if the weather-guy is right the Big Guy from the North Pole might feel right at home if the snow materializes. Which is a whole lot better than that wet stuff we sometimes see at this time of year.
Come downtown and enjoy an event the whole family can enjoy.
