Central Vancouver Island Crisis Society

Crisis Line Awareness Week
March 22 - 28 2009

The Crisis Society is set up to helps others find their way in times of crisis.

Crisis Line support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

When you call the Crisis Society you can expect a
caring non-judgmental voice on the other end of the line. We want to understand how you are feeling and what has happened to bring you to call. We are here for short-term emotional support. We will ask callers whether they feel suicidal if that pertains to the nature of the call. We hope to leave you with a plan on how to manage the concerns that led you to call us and give you appropriate referrals if wanted. We’re here to listen and to help.
