In a move to generate massive cash flow, the 49 store chain, Petcetera is discounting merchandise by up to 70%.
On Friday the B.C. company filed for creditor protection and are attempting to restructure their business.
The company employs 1600 people nationally and the Nanaimo store is located on Mary Ellen Drive in the north end of the city.
So if Bowser or Puff are in need of that something special, this could be a good time to pick up some serious bargains.
