NORTHWEST WINDS OF 70 TO 90 KM/H OVER CENTRAL COAST - COASTAL SECTIONS WILL ABATE THIS EVENING. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 50 TO 70 KM/H OVER NORTH AND WEST VANCOUVER ISLAND WILL ABATE OVERNIGHT. WINDS WILL RISE TO NORTHWEST 50 TO 70 KM/H OVER THE SOUTHERN GULF ISLANDS AND EAST VANCOUVER ISLAND EARLY THIS EVENING. THIS IS A WARNING THAT POTENTIALLY DAMAGING WINDS ARE EXPECTED OR OCCURRING IN THESE REGIONS. MONITOR WEATHER CONDITIONS..LISTEN FOR UPDATED STATEMENTS.
