Free BMX Racing May 9

Discover the Sport of BMX FREE!

This Saturday new riders can try out racing with their friends. Bring your bike and race against people your own age.

Enjoy the exhilaration of racing on a World Championship track right in Nanaimo. You will get practice time on the track before the races, and then you will race at least three times (called Motos).

BMX as a sport is almost 40 years old now, and was a demonstration sport at the 2008 Olympics in Bejing last summer.

For new rider day, you can bring a BMX or a Mountain Bike. There will be a bike check to make sure your bike is safe to race with.

The track is located off of Labieux Rd. behind Beban Park.

For more information you can call the Club President, Marie Davidson at 250-758-5234 or visit their website using this
Nanaimo Info LINK.
