It's Only Mid-AugustBut this scene on Departure Bay Road might make you want to check your calendar. Sure enough it is not October yet! The sudden change in temperature and a little bit of rain is a stark change from what we have been experiencing for over two months now.
I am sure it is just the lack of rain which has caused drought stress to some trees causing them to shed their leaves early.
I also understand that the PNE is a well known weather-maker which almost always insures about two weeks of cloudy, rainy weather. :^)
