Fly Fishing At Millstone River Nanaimo

Poetry In Motion

The early morning silence is barely broken by the sound of a fly line dancing rhythmically through the morning air.

A skilled fly fisherman can make a line and fly precisely mimic what will entice a finicky salmon to take the bait.

The mouth of the Millstone River on low tide was the scene of this ballet on Saturday morning as a skilled angler tried their hand with the run of pinks returning home.
