Second Line Starts At Harmac MillThe second production line at Harmac pulp mill will be operating at full capacity today. This is really good news for the 45 extra people hired to run the line.
The mill's production will be increased by about 40% bringing total production of bleached softwood kraft pulp to 30,000 tonnes per month.
Improved demand in China has led to the decision to increase production. The mill sells nearly 50% of it's product to China.
