This Is A $100,000.00 SalmonThis past weekend saw $150,000.00 of prize money given away during the Vancouver Island Salmon Classic held at the Sooke Harbour Resort and Marina.
This winning monster weighed in at 40.6 pounds, capturing the $100,000.00 prize. Second place went to the same team with another Shinook weighing in at 37.8 pounds. The winning team took home $150,000.00 which is some fish story.
Third place with a 37.2 pound slab earned the winning team a $25,000.00 prize.
