Departure Bay - Horseshoe BaySailings Cancelled
The 7:00 pm sailing from Departure Bay and the 9:00 pm sailing from Horseshoe Bay are being cancelled for the winter by BC Ferries.
The cancellation is in effect from Oct. 14 2009 until March 31 2010 with the exclusion of Christmas and Olympic periods. The cancellation is in effect from Monday to Thursday and does not affect Fri. - Sun. schedules.
BC Ferries claim this will save the corporation nearly half a million dollars and suggest the alternate route of Duke Point to Tsawwassen.
