The Ladysmith RCMP request the assistance of the public in identifying the man depicted in this composite sketch. This is the suspect in a Ladysmith home invasion this past weekend, which resulted in the sexual assault of a female resident in her 50's.The suspect is described as:
- Caucasian male with a darker complexion
- Approximately 6 feet tall
- Short, dark hair
- In his early 20's
- Fit, slim build
- Clothing: dark colored t-shirt (with printed pattern on the chest), blue jeans, sneakers, green colored hoodie sweatshirt
On the morning of Saturday, September 26th, the suspect is known to have been in the 100 block of Buller Street at around 2:00 a.m., and the 700 block of Malone Road at around 3:30 a.m. Anyone who recognizes this man, or witnessed any suspicious activity or persons in the downtown area, or residential areas of Ladysmith last Friday night, or Saturday morning, is urged to contact the Ladysmith RCMP at 250-245-2215, or Crimestoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
