Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male responsible for the robbery of a local Petro Canada on Saturday October 17 .
The suspect male entered the Petro Canada located at 3189 North Island Highway at approximately 6:45 PM ,walked behind the counter and demanded the clerk hand over money from the till. A knife was produced and the male made off with an undisclosed amount of money. Members attended but could not locate the suspect.
He is described as being a white male, approximately 30 years of age with a square jaw , large nose with prominently protruding cheek bones. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a red shirt underneath with a white logo on the front of it. He was also wearing black skater shoes with white soles.Anyone with information on this incident or the identity of the male is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS)
