Surplus-Furniture.com is a Scam. This is a fraudulent website seeking to claim victims by using the good name, reputation and physical address of Ashley Furniture Homestore of Lagrange, Ga.
The BBB has confirmed that Ashely Furniture has nothing to do with this internet offering. The BBB called the phone number listed for the website registrant, Mr. John Vincent. The phone is answered by a representative of an unrelated company, which states that there is no one by that name affiliated with the company, nor do they know anything about Surplus-Furniture.com.
The website is claiming to be accredited by the Better Business Bureau using an html page. The BBB can find no listings for Surplus-Furniture.com in its data base. The BBB has notified the website hosting company and advised of the fraudulent activity.
If you have recently placed an online order with Surplus-Furniture.com, using a credit or debit card, you should notify your card issuer to dispute and cancel the charges. The BBB continues to try and develop more information on Surplus-Furniture.com
