The City of Nanaimo website informs that the fund which helped residents replace their old biffy are now exhausted.
Seems many people took advantage of the rebate program and bought new water conserving devices. That's a good idea and it should save the resident money on their water bill. I just don't know why I (who for a long time have had an efficient toilet) have to help them with their purchase?
Is it possible that someone in powerful places has a connection to the toilet retail business or the home building supply business??
Here's an idea, you could put another $480,000.00 into the fund by simply not paying Mr. Berry to do nothing!
Just a thought.
