Public Invited To Attend Financial Plan Meeting Tonight
This is the last night the public is encouraged to provide input into the Five Year Financial Plan which will determine your taxes for coming years.
The meeting is at the Shaw Auditorium in the VICC and starts at 7:00pm. This invitation was issued to the public via advertisement in the Nov. 21 News Bulletin and to my knowledge very few, if any local taxpayers have offered any input.
It is your tax dollars they are planning on spending and if they don't hear from you, letting them know what you think, you have little room to complain when your taxes keep going up and up.
