BC Ferries Raises FaresAs of April 1 2010 getting on and off Vancouver Island will cost more, as well as any other island served by BC Ferries, with RV's and trailers taking the biggest hit.
RV's and trailers over 20' long will have to pay $5.25 per foot which is up from the current $2.25 per foot.
Regular passengers and vehicles will have to dig a little deeper also. Adults will have to pay $14.00, up from $13.50, while children fares rise to $7.00 from $6.75. Regular vehicles will cost $46.75 which is a $1.75 increase.
