Click photos to enlargeThe crocus and daffies are popping up in gardens all over Nanaimo while the local Canada Goose population is beginning to 'pair up' in preparation for adding to the flock.
Spring is in the air alright with warm temperatures and clear blue skies coming about a month before the calendar says they should. It also means that the sound of lawn mowers can be heard already as the grass is growing like crazy!
You just can't beat the first green of spring, when even my lawn can look like a golf course for a few days.
