How To Get Started
If you are considering trying your hand raising a few chickens in your backyard, now that it is legal in Nanaimo, you will want to consider taking this course.
The Vancouver Island Exhibition and the Nanaimo Poultry Collective are presenting workshops that deal with the care, maintenance and housing of backyard chickens and ducks.

The two hour workshops are currently scheduled for:
- Wed. Mar.31 7-9 pm
- Wed. Apr.14 7-9 pm
- Sat. Apr.24 7-9 pm
- Wed. May 12 7-9 pm
