SPCA Wins Regardless of Outcome
On Sunday, March 28Th, 2010, Nanaimo RCMP and the Nanaimo Fire Dept strap on the blades for a charity hockey game " Guns N' Hoses ". All proceeds from the game go to the Nanaimo SPCA. The game starts at 3:15 pm at the Frank Crane Arena in Nanaimo. ADMISSION IS FREE. No tickets necessary. Cash or animal food donations would be greatly appreciated.
Prior to the game, there will be a tail gate party in the parking lot starting at 12 noon. There will be a hot dog stand, bouncy castles, balloon animals, music, and a huge display of police and fire dept vehicles including a police helicopter. Tons of fun for the entire family. Bring your cameras and get shots of your kids and grand kids in a police car or fire truck and help support the animals.
