Break and Enter Suspect Sketch

On April 6th, 2010, at approximately 2:41 pm, an occupant of a residence located in the 800 block Craig Road, Ladysmith, B.C. arrived home and discovered an unknown male in the second floor of the residence. Upon being confronted by the resident, the male fled the house to Craig Road, where he had a car parked in front of the house, and drove away north on Craig Road. The male gained entry to the residence via an unlocked side door.

The male stole a pair of grey sweat pants from the residence.

The male is described as a Caucasian male, late 20's to early 30's, 5'9 (177cm) to 5'11(180cm) in height, medium build, short dark hair, stubble beard and straight nice teeth. He was wearing a dark fleece sweater and the grey sweat pants. The car he fled in is described as a newer Honda Civic, greenish gold in colour. A composite drawing has been completed of the male.

If you know the identity of this male, or have any information on a crime in our community, call the Ladysmith RCMP at 250-245-2215, or anonymously though Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

RCMP would like to remind people to ensure their doors and windows are locked/secured when they are away from their houses. If you arrive home and find your house has been broken into, immediately call the police if you have concern the suspect(s) may still be present.
