Nanaimo Fight HST Campaign
Goes Door to Door
The local Fight HST organizer is reporting that nearly twice as many volunteers have come forward as he expected. Hoping for around 50 helpers, he was pleased to hear nearly 100 people have volunteered to help gather signatures.
The Nanaimo petition signing starts this Friday night at the Country Club Mall food court, and continues all day Saturday.
Apparently the Fight HST website crashed yesterday which would indicate a strong ground swell of opposition to this new tax. If you would like to volunteer, sign up at the Fight HST website using this LINK.
