If you notice a BC Ferries vessel on Sunday morning at the Assembly Wharf in Nanaimo being evacuated with emergency vessels standing by, there is no cause for concern.
BC Ferries is participating in SAREX Nanaimo Harbour 2010, a multi-agency training exercise organized by the Canadian Coast Guard and the City of Nanaimo to test the coordinated response to a major maritime disaster.
'Glitch' Charges Customers Twice!
BC Ferries experienced a system issue with its credit card processing on some transactions over the Easter long weekend and the company is working diligently to rectify the situation.
