B.C. Ferries Coastsavers Fares Return
Popular Program Returns For Ferry Passengers
Starting May 25, 2010 until July 29, 2010 mid-week passengers onboard BC Ferries between Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland can save money.
A passenger vehicle and driver can sail on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for $39.95 which is a $20.00 saving on a one-way fare. Passengers can sail for only $9.95 during the same period.
The Coastsaver fares apply to the three major routes sailing from Tsawwassen - Swartz Bay, Tsawwassen - Duke Point and Horsehoe Bay - Departure Bay.
The Coastsaver fares will not apply on June 29, 30 and July 1 which is the long weekend.
Travel Mid-Week and Save 30%
BC Ferries spokesman say the 30% reduced fare will benefit their customers and helps fill up their less busy sailings. It should also help reduce demand on the much busier weekend sailings.
