FREE PARKING ALL DAY

If you are going downtown to see the parade and other events this Sunday, you can park your car for free in the Bastion St. Parkade and the parkade behind Howard Johnston Hotel.
Special events such as the Empire Days Parade are granted free parking privileges if both Tourism Nanaimo and the organizers of the event approve.
You are reminded that on street parking is free every Sunday downtown and not just during special events. There is also free parking every Sunday in the Cavan St. lot and the lot at Wallace and Wentworth.
