The male found breaking into a vehicle in College Heights on July 9th by female resident, Theresa McBride, was arrested during a late afternoon traffic stop by Nanaimo RCMP.
He was held in custody and will make a court appearance this morning in Provincial Court on Front Street on 2 counts of Theft over $5000 and Possession of a Controlled Substance under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act.
During the arrest a small quantity of crack cocaine was located on his person. This individual may be facing further property related charges at the outcome of other investigations currently underway.
