Dance Nanaimo sponsors free dances in the Park on Friday night. There is a dance on July 16 and July 30 and every Friday night in August.
Typically there is one hour of dance instruction from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm followed by a social dance from 8:00 - 10:30 pm at the Lion's Pavilion in Maffeo Sutton Park.
Bring your own chair and picnic. Foot attire should be soft leather soled shoes. Runners or sandals are not appropriate. This is a concrete floor so the use of foam shoe liners is highly suggested.
