The leader of the Federal Liberals who wants to be our next Prime Minister will be stopping in Nanaimo this coming Friday for nearly one hour as he continues his tour of Canada.

If you would like to hear what he has to say about himself and his vision for Canada you will want to be at the Mon Petit Choux cafe on Commercial Street at 10:45 am.

Perhaps he'll have time to catch a pink salmon during his visit which could make an excellent photo op for the popular leader.

Local MP Jean Crowder is reported as expressing some surprise he is visiting Nanaimo, noting that a Liberal has only won this riding once in 100 years.
