Lightning Strike Affects Telus Internet

 Nanaimo Telus Customers Lose Internet

A lightning strike in Alberta fried some of the servers housed in a building in Edmonton. The damage to the equipment resulted in many Telus customers losing their internet service.

A Telus spokesman said they hoped to have the service fully restored by yesterday afternoon. However, they had thought the problem was fixed earlier only to find their were still intermittent problems.

If you are a Telus internet customer and still do not have your service restored, you should notify Telus so they know they still have some problems.
