Nanaimo Info Blog Makeover

Nanaimo Info Blog Gets New Look

I hope you like and enjoy the 'new look' of Nanaimo Info Blog and find it easier on the eye than the old design. It is always with a certain amount of trepidation that you make changes to something people are familiar with, but I do think these changes are an improvement over the old layout and colors.

I hope you agree. Everything that was on the old design is here, and the layout is basically the same, so if you knew where the archives were before, they are still in the same place. Ditto, for the contact list of your local city council.

Any suggestions for article ideas, general improvement etc. are always welcome, so don't be shy and send your comments along.

Nanaimo Info Blog which is a non-commercial website has been online now for over three years, and has over 2500 posts in the archives. It and it's sister site nanaimo-info.com enjoy over 30,000 readers each month now so I presume the information on these sites is found to be useful. Another website growing in popularity is Canadian Product Recalls which posts products which have been recalled in Canada for a wide variety of reasons. Flammable tents and shampoo with bacteria in it are two recent recalled items.  This website can be visited at www.canadianrecalls.com.

The goal of this blog is to provide concise coverage of local news, events, announcements, politics, weather and items of general interest in an easy to navigate layout where information is easy to find. There are two maps in the right hand column which show  places of interest downtown and also a map of Nanaimo Parks and Recreational Facilities.

You can search the entire blog by using the Search feature in the bar at the top of the page, simply type in a topic and click on the little magnifying glass icon and all articles on the blog will come up. For example, if you want to see a history of Nanaimo house prices, simply type in Nanaimo House Prices, click on the icon and all articles pertaining to house prices will come up. This can be a useful feature if you are looking for a history of information on a specific topic.
Jerry Berry is an interesting one!

Again, any suggestions for improvement are most welcome.

Cheers
