The Midway Is Bigger and Better Than Ever This Year

If you missed going to the Vancouver Island Exhibition you still have lots of time today and it looks like the weatherman is going to co-operate for at least one more day.

The popular fair was packed yesterday with lots and lots of families with children right through to old guys like me enjoying all the fair has to offer.

The midway is definitely bigger and better this year, and judging by the delighted screams coming from the rides I'm sure everyone was having a great time getting the life scared out of them.

I even saw a flying elephant at the midway which was just the ticket for the less adventuresome who think that 'Zero Gravity' is not really a great idea!

The smell of all manner of health food filled the air and what agricultural fair is complete without that 'other' smell coming from the livestock barns!

City kids got the opportunity to learn that milk does really come from cows and not a carton or plastic jug. And that eggs come from chickens and not those Styrofoam or paper cartons!

The fair is on today until 5:00 pm so you still have lots of time to take in all the interesting displays, rides and of course gastronomic delights you only can find at this time of year!
