Bastion Street Parkade Repairs Begin Sept. 13

Access From Terminal Ave. Only

Construction to repair the membrane on the Bastion Street Parkade will begin on Monday Sept. 13 and continue through to October 22, 2010. During this time the top two levels of the parkade will be closed and the only access will be via Terminal Avenue.

During this period you should avoid using levels 5 & 6 as contaminated water may drip onto vehicles and cause damage. Should you chose to use this facility and liquid from the ceiling is noted on your vehicle it should be removed immediately.

The city of Nanaimo is encouraging people to use the Port of Nanaimo Centre Parkade on Gordon St. or the Harbour Front Parkade on Front Street. If you are using the Bastion Street Parkade use levels 1 - 4 and avoid using levels 5 & 6.
