Oaks Put Their Red Dress On
While not rivaling the hardwood forests of Ontario and Quebec for the fall show of colours, there are a few spots around Nanaimo that does offer some fall colours.
The oaks by the VIEX fairgrounds at Beban Park have put on some fall colour, which could be more intense if we got some colder nights. Nevertheless, they do look pretty on a nice sunny fall day.
