It's Official Nanaimo City Hall
Has Finally Gone To The Dogs
There are some Council Meetings, and decisions, or lack there of that make you wonder if the seat of local governance might just as well be left to the dogs! I kind of think that many decisions at city hall are made by those who have the biggest dog in the fight.
That point aside, the other afternoon while attending a meeting at city hall I noticed these two fine canine specimens dutifully standing guard over the entrance to our City Hall. Fine specimens of canine topiary they are indeed, and the city gardening department gets kudos for providing some interesting examples of creative gardening.
Next time you are down that way, check out the two new watchdogs at city hall. Any suggestions for two appropriate names? I don't know whether Berry and Korpan would be suitable handles for two examples of supreme watchdogs of the public purse?
