Premier Campbell's Rating Free Falls to 9%

Angus Reid Poll Raises
Leadership Doubts For Both Parties

It is reported today in the Vancouver Sun that a recent Angus Reid poll gives Gordon Campbell the lowest rating of a premier in years, scoring even lower than ex-premiers Vander Zalm and Clark druing their final days in office. The poll gives Campbell a 9% approval rating which is classified as being 'rock bottom'.

Clearly the HST debacle is reason number one for his fall from grace with the electorate, but NDP leader James is a long way from huge support numbers also.

The Oct. 13 & 14 poll taken of  804 adults gave the NDP a 49% approval rating compared with the Liberals 24%, however it showed NDP leader Carole James with only 27% approval.

The poll also found that 72% of the respondents would vote in favour of abolishing the HST.

Comment: It is rumored the Liberal party recently purchased a new knife sharpener.
