Delay Requested
It is reported in the local Daily, that Boston Pizza franchise owner, Jim Mercier has requested council delay their decision about his sign until the matter of a possible conflict with Councilor Bestwick is resolved.
Mercier wants the perceived conflict of interest resolved before council votes again on the variance permit for the sign in question.
Lawyers for Bestwick have presented council with their argument, which council will now seek legal advice on before proceeding.
